Oladayo A. Okeniyi is a Nigerian-American actor, popularly known for playing the role of Thresh in The Hunger Games and Danny Dyson in Terminator Genisys. Okeniyi is now in leading man territory in "EMPEROR" portraying Shields "EMPEROR" Green a slave fighting his way north to free himself and his family, joining forces with abolitionist John Brown for a daring raid in Harpers Ferry, W.Va., in 1859. In a conversation with multi award winning entertainment journalist Tanisha LaVerne Grant, Okeniyi talks about his career journey and why he almost turned down the role.
