I began as a substitute teacher in 1987 at Jackie Robinson Middle School. Working as a sub showed me that I love teaching and wanted to be a part of it. Although I followed other paths and earned my degrees in areas other than teaching, I became a full time instructor in 2009; confirmation that I belong in this profession. I am from New Haven. I graduated from James Hillhouse High School. I benefitted from the the CONNPEP Program. If it were not for such a program I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN college matereial. It is not my turn to give back. I hope you will give me that opportunity.
